Description

The Administrative/Program Specialist Personal Services Contractor (?the PSC?) is a key member of the OMA Director?s Office where s/he will provide administrative and management support to the Director and to all of the staff of the Office of Military Affairs. The overall objective will be to manage and assure the smooth functioning of the administrative, financial and program management and operational functions of the Office of Military Affairs in order to assure that OMA will effectively achieve its mission to expand the partnership between USAID and the U.S. Military in stability operations, reconstruction and transformational development and to support the transition to democracy and to long-term development of countries in crisis, including assistance to develop, strengthen, or preserve democratic institutions and processes, revitalize basic infrastructure, and foster the peaceful resolution of conflict. The PSC serves as OMA?s point-of-contact with the DCHA Bureau?s Office of Administration and Management (DCHA/AMS), USAID?s Office of Human Resources, USAID?s Office of Management, and parallel management structures with OMA partners within the U.S. Military. The PSC will be based in USAID/Washington in the Office of the Director, DCHA/OMA where s/he will report to the OMA Director, or his designee.
