- Elmendorf AFB, Alaska has a requirement for an Airport Runway Measurement Device. The NAICS code is 334515, size standard 500 employees. The solicitation or Request for Quote (RFQ), FA5000-06-T-0045, will be issued as a 100 percent Small Business (SB) Set Aside, Items to be purchased: Line Item 0001, Runway Continuous Friction Measuring Equipment (CFME) MU-Meter MK6 Qty 1. Line Item 002 Turn Key Installation with Operator and preventative maintenance training. The RFQ will be issued on or about 16 Mar 06 at 9:00 A.M. Alaska Standard Time. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) to be eligible for award. The CCR Internet web site is http://www.ccr.gov. Upon issue, the RFQ will be abailable on the interenet at the Electronic Posting System (EPS) website which is available at www.fedbizopps.gov. All responsible sources may submit written proposal, which shall be considered. Please note that paper solicitations will not be recommended will not be issued, and all documents related to this acquisition will be posted on EPS.
