- The Bureau of Reclamation, Central California Area Office, New Melones intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a firm-fixed price construction contract to: 1) Install 120 volt underground electric service to two gates for the purpose of converting the gates from manual and solar-power to electrical power; 2) Install 120 or 240 volt electric service to new pole light at front entrance gate; 3) Furnish and install additional pole lights, and 4) Install 120 or 240 volt electric service to pole lights necessary to light two parking lots. The estimated cost of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) applicable for this project is 238210. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is $13 million. It is anticipated that the RFQ and Statement of Work, will be posted for download on May 30, 2006 at http://ideasec.nbc.gov, with quotes due on or about June 30, 2006, 3:00 PM. Effective October 1, 2003, any contractor to be awarded a government contract must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Contractors may register at http://www.ccr.gov. Effective January 1, 2005, any contractor submitting a quotation, offer or proposal to the Government must complete their Representations and Certifications online. All the representations and certifications which used to be submitted within Section K are now located online. Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA), can be completed at http://orca.bpn.gov. Quotes may be submitted electronically or via fax.
