Description

DESIGN AND CONSTRUCT TWO (2) WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITIES, SAM RAYBURN RESERVOIR, TEXAS W9126G-06-T-0099 Point of Contact: Andrea Wells, Contract Specialist, (817) 886-1061. The work will consist of the Contractor furnishing all equipment, personnel, supervision, materials, supplies, fuel, lubricants, and maintenance of equipment to perform various tasks associated with the design and construction of Two (2) Wastewater Treatme nt Facilities, Sam Rayburn Reservoir, Texas, in accordance with the attached scope of work. This contract is a fixed price construction contract with a magnitude of $25,000 to $100,000. The Contractor is not to commence work under this purchase order unt il a signed copy of the Notice to Proceed is fully executed by the Contracting Officer. The performance period for the entire work ready for use is sixty (60) calendar days. The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises. Liq uidated damages of $100.00 per calendar day are applicable. The Contractor is required to comply with the attached scope of work for further project specifications. Davis Bacon Wage Decisions are applicable. The Contractor is encouraged to make a site v isit which can be arranged by contacting Mr. Ray Livingston or Mr. Bill Taylor at 409/384-5716 during normal business hours. Estimated Construction Range: Between $25,000 & $100,000. Solicitation will issue on 24 May 2006. Bids will be due 7 June 2006 by 2:00 PM, central time. Duration of project sixty (60) calendar days. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237110. Small Business Size Standard is $31,000,000.00. All qualified business concerns may submit offers. Offers from large business firms must comply with FAR Clause 52.219-9 regarding the requirement for sub mission of a subcontracting plan. The Fort Worth District subcontracting goals are for specified percentages of the contractors total planned subcontracting amount to be placed with the following: Small Business 43%; Small Disadvantages Business, 16.5%; Women-Owned Small Business, 5.7%; Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, 1.5%; and HUBZone Small Business, 8.0%. The plans and specifications will be issued on the Internet only. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a paper hard copy format. Notification of amendments shall be made through the Internet. The Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation. It is therefore the contractors responsibility to check daily for any posted changes to this solicitation.
