Description

This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 ? THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES/PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFQ/RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. 45 CONS/LGCBB has a requirement for sand bags, heavy duty, double stitched, 14?x 26?, black, the bags have a ten year warrant, comes with 3/8?UVHD 8.5 plastic tie which has a four year warranty, S.F. Travis Co. part number LT-PB40, 11000 each. The expected delivery date is approximately thirty (30) days after receipt of the purchase order. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. The proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. FA2521-06-T-0149 is issued as a Request for Quotation. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 5251, business size of $6.5 M and a North American Industry Classifications System (NAICS) code of 444130. GS Schedule holders for this item are encouraged to provide us with their GSA Schedule number. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
