- APPLIANCE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES: The 88th Contract Squadron at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH is seeking Hub zone and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business sources to provide appliance maintenance and repair services at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The purpose of this announcement is to identify firms who are Hub zone and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and possess both capability and experience to provide specialized appliance maintenance and repair service including appliance removals and miscellaneous work. The contractor will furnish all equipment, labor, and materials and will perform all operations necessary to complete the work. A draft PWS (Performance Work Statement) is attached. The government anticipates a competitive acquisition for this award. The contractor will be required to ensure appliances are in proper working order and maintained according to the manufacturer?s recommendations. The contractor must respond to service calls within the specified time frame resulting in a satisfied customer, and make sure all repairs are made in a timely matter and replacement appliances are provided when the repair time will be lengthy. Period of performance is 365 days, 1 Oct 06 through 30 Sept 07, with the possible award of four one-year options. In addition to the information requested in the paragraph below, entitled ?Capabilities Package?, responding parties must also indicate their size status in relation to the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 811412, with an associated standard of $6.5M. CAPABILITIES PACKAGE Interested parties must submit a capabilities package, with a cover letter, that is brief and concise, yet clearly demonstrates ability to meet the stated requirements with sufficiently qualified personnel. The capabilities package should clearly present evidence that the interested party is fully capable of providing the required services and as such may contain any information that the interested party feels is relevant. Capabilities package requirements are to be presented in accordance with the attachment to these sources sought entitled ?CAPABILITIES PACKAGE?. Responses are to be mailed to 88 CONS/PKBA.
