- Description
- The Air Force desires to acquire through full and open competition, in support of the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA), the maintenance and repair of refrigeration and HVAC systems in military commissaries at nine commissaries located in the states of Idaho, Montana, and Washington and placed in two groups as follows. Group I: Fairchild AFB WA, Malmstrom AFB MT, and Mountain Home AFB ID. Group II: Bangor NSB WA, Bremerton PSNS WA, Fort Lewis WA, McChord AFB WA, Smokey Point WA, and Whidbey Island NAS WA. The groups will not be split; therefore you must propose on all commissaries within each group. These commissaries are located in the Western Region of the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA). The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, materials and equipment, and transportation necessary to perform monthly maintenance, 24/7 availability, provide emergency response service within two (2) hours of notification and repaired within 24 hours in all commissaries within the group. Commissary must remain open and operational during business hours throughout the period of performance. Must meet all local, state, and federal EPA requirements. Experience required in commercial supermarket refrigeration/HVAC systems. The period of performance will commence 1 February 2007, or date of award through one year thereafter with four priced one-year options to extend for a total performance period not to exceed 60 months.
