- Description
- The VANTHCS Dallas has a requirement to replace chiller at the VANTHCS, 4500 S. Lancaster Road, Dallas Texas 75216. Contractor shall furnish all necessary tools, materials, equipment, and supervision for solicitation 549-40-06, Project 549-06-103 in accordance with the specifications and drawings. Work includes but is not limited to general construction, mechanical, electrical work, alterations, and certain other items required for the replacement of existing cooling towers and replace existing pump and existing absorption chiller. Construction cost range per VAAR 836-204 is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. The applicable NACIS code is 236220 with small business size standard of $28,000,000. Specifications, drawing, and forms for submitting bids will be available on or about May 18, 2006, 2:00 pm CST at http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov or fedbizops.gov for downloading. Pre-bid conference is scheduled for June 12, 2006, at 10:00 am CST. Note: All offerors are encouraged to attend the pre-bid conference. Questions must be submitted to the Contracting Officer by email to rita.anderson@med.va.gov or by fax to 214-302-1416 no later than May 30, 2006, so that they can be addressed at the pre-bid conference. The Contracting Officer will accept further questions by email or fax until close of business four (4) calendars after the Pre-bid conference, June 16, 2006, 2:00 pm CST; any responses will be provided to all bidder?s Mailing List. Questions received later than four (4) calendar days after the Pre-bid Conference will not be addressed in their interest of adhering to the scheduled proposal due date. Proposal due date will be on or about June 28, 2006 at 2:00 PM CST. All respondents must be registered in CCR database, web address http://ccr.gov and complete online Representations and Certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov and register or be registered with Vets 100 at webpage http://vets100.cudenver.edu/. Amendments to the solicitation will be posted ONLY at the Business Opportunity Website. All bidders are advised they are responsible for obtaining amendments to the solicitation from the BOS web site. Interested bidders must go to the BOS website to be entered on the Bidders Mailing List and to obtain copies of the Bidders Mailing List. All questions must be submitted in writing to the issuing office. This is (100%) one hundred percent set aside for Services Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).
