- HSCG87-06-B-643212 Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades at U.S. Coast Guard Integrated Support Command (ISC) Kodiak, Alaska. The contractor shall provide all materials, supervision, labor, equipment, transportation, and incidentals necessary to perform the following work: Upgrade portions of the interior and exterior of the existing wastewater treatment plant including building wall repairs, new roof, modification of interior office spaces, new doors, new canopies and concrete walk off pads, upgrade existing drywell systems, upgrade existing heating system, and provide new air handling system for main building and office space. Replace and or upgrade existing wastewater treatment pumps, equipment, and supply a new control and monitoring system. Install a new UV disinfection system in the existing chlorine contact basin. Provide a new larger above ground fuel storage tank and build a new concrete pad with protective steel bollards. Provide a new steel frame Boiler Generator building on a concrete foundation. Building will be adjacent to exiting garage addition and total approximately 400 square feet. Relocate existing Standby generator to new Boiler Generator building. Provide a new steel frame UV disinfection building on top of the existing below grade concrete chlorine contact basin. Building will total approximately 700 square feet. Perform exterior grading and excavations as required for new work. Upgrade the electrical systems to comply with current codes and to operate new wastewater treatment equipment. Upgrade existing items to comply with 2003 IBC seismic restraint requirements. Import classified soil material as required. Provide cast-in-place concrete for new building foundation, fuel tank foundation, sidewalks, and walk-off pads. Provide new interior enclosure at headworks with independent ventilation system. All work shall be completed on or before February 15, 2007. Contract award is anticipated late July 2006. The estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. See the solicitation for bonding requirements. This procurement is issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237110 and the applicable size standard is $31.0 million dollars in annual receipts for the past three years. All responsible small businesses may submit a bid. A firm-fixed-price contract will be awarded. This solicitation will not be issued in paper form.
