- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offer(s) being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. The solicitation number is HSCG28-06-Q-3HD535. This combined synopsis constitutes a solicitation and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-26. Applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAIC) code is 336611, size 1,000 employees. This requirement is being solicited with the intent of issuing/negotiating a contract with Detyen?s Ship Yard where CGC Dallas is currently under going dry dock yard availability. Detyen?s Ship Yard restricts outside contractors from performing work on vessel that is all ready under contract. The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.5. The acquisition is to Blast and preserve Main Deck. Contractor shall protect non-affected vessel?s equipment, components, and space during surface preparation and coating application procedures, as specified in Scope of Work Requirements which are available upon request. The following FAR Subpart 12 provisions and clauses are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors Commercial Item (Jan 2005). The following addenda are added to FAR 52.212-1 (1) Paragraph (b), Offer shall include unit price (as applicable) and proposed delivery for item (after receipt of contract). Delivery of all items shall be made within 30 days after order. Companies must have valid DUNS numbers and be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and shall provide the company Tax Information Number TIN with their offer.
