- Computer Assistant services for the Oklahoma City Area Indian Health Service, Division of Information Technology and Telecom. Period of Performance is July 6, 2005 through July 5, 2007. The Service Contract Act is applicable under certain circumstances. Go to www.dol.gov for wage rates for the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma area. This solicitation is 100% Set-aside for American Indian offerors. Issue date is: May 16, 2006 and the closing date is: June 15, 4 p.m. CDT. Statement of Work for Computer Assistant: Computer Assistant assists the Information Technology Education coordinator with the daily management of the IT Training Program including dissemination of general information and schedules, student registrations, preparations of student packets, preparation of instructor packets and setup of training equipment. Computer Assistant serves as the primary contact for the Information Technology Education Center in the absence of the coordinator. Computer Assistant serves as the office manager which includes a wide variety of services such as: receptionist and visitor information support, library management, typing filing, records management, preparing travel orders and vouchers and assisting with office automation needs. Computer Assistant assists the coordinator in the preparation and maintenance of web pages for the Oklahoma City Area Internet Web Site. This includes: creating PDF documents using Adobe Acrobat 5.0 and typing information on web page templates. Computer Assistant provides general clerical support for the coordinator in a variety of special projects. Qualifications: Ability to use personal computer, scanner or other automated equipment. Ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Evaluation Criteria: Technical as well as price will be a deciding factor for award of a purchase order. Measurement of possession of the Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA?s) will be accomplished through review of the resume; narrative statement related to KSA?s, employment review and reference check results. Ability to provide high quality customer service to internal and external customers. b. Ability to use a computer and office automation software that includes word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, internet and presentation software. c. Knowledge of correspondence rules, grammar, punctuation and spelling. d. Ability to type at least 40 words per minute. 3. Provide 3 letters of reference from past or current supervisors (phone numbers and/or address must be current) 4. Provide a copy of your Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB); or Tribal Membership identification card. 5. Must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database.
