- Pre-Solicitation Conference: Wood Products LTCs for Europe and Continental United States Potential offerors are invited to attend a pre-solicitation conference to be held at DSCP on June 1, 2006. Subject will be proposed solicitations for long term contracts covering DSCP requirements for wood products in Europe and the continental United States. The conference will also allow for individual sessions to all who are interested. Theses sessions will be scheduled for June 2, 2006 as required. The conference will be held to explain the requirements of the prospective solicitations and invite commentary and suggestions from attendees. Interested firms are encouraged to attend. To register, please email or fax the point of contact below. Those interested in attending are requested to indicate their intention to do so as soon as possible. The registration deadline is May 26, 2006. Copies of the draft solicitations will be provided by the registration deadline to those indicating that they plan to attend the conference. Prospective offerors are requested to submit any questions in writing (use of email is encouraged) by the registration deadline to allow inclusion of the questions in the agenda. Questions will be considered at any time prior to or during the conference, however, offerors will be asked to confirm verbal questions in writing. The pre-solicitation conference is a preliminary step in the acquisition process that may result in an actual RFP at a later date. This notice should not be construed as a commitment by DSCP to enter into any agreement with any entity submitting comments in response to this Notice or participating in the pre-solicitation conference, as a commitment to issue any RFP concerning the subject of this Notice or as a request for proposals. The Government will not be liable for expenses incurred by an offeror prior to contract award.
