- *********ONLY WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE HONORED********* IMPORTANT: TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED ********* The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools and supervision to install a separate Parent Workout room in the old Teen Center room within the Gymnasium building. The new wall inside the room shall be a non-load bearing acoustical wall which splits the existing room into a workout space and a training room space. Minor electrical, ventilation, flooring and fire suppression modification are expected. This project is in a building within and on the historic register, but will not affect any component of the exterior located at ISC Kodiak, Bldg 2, USCG Integrated Support Command, KODIAK, ALASKA. Area space is 2,400 sqft Materials, workmanship, and installation shall comply with the latest edition of all applicable codes and industry standards and these specifications. ***********Contractor is responsible for field verification of all material sizes and quantities necessary for the complete installation of this project before quoting. ************ GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIALS: as stated in Statement of Work. Performance Period is 30-45 days. (2) COPIES OF SUBMITTALS DUE UPON AWARD may include but are not limited to: manufacturer’s catalogs, standard schedules, performance charts, instructions, brochures, diagrams, etc., in addition MSDS’s, references / qualifications. Lack of adequacy of references shall be at the sole discretion of the government and may constitute grounds for disqualification. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH requirements of: ACI304, ACI347, UBC, NEC, State of Alaska Administrative Codes, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards; Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), ANSI Standards, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), MIL SPEC, FED STD, and applicable Coast Guard Safety Regulations. ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS ARE CONTAINED IN STATEMENT OF WORK THAT WILL BE INCLUDED WITH REQUEST FOR QUOTE DOCUMENTS WHEN THEY ARE ISSUED ON APPROXIMATELY FEBRUARY 23, 2006. A SITE VISIT will be held approximately two weeks before quote is due. (Site visits are not mandatory, but are highly encouraged.) Location: U.S. Coast Guard, Integrated Support Command, Kodiak, Alaska. Estimated price is UNDER $100,000. This is a small business set aside. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation, which shall be considered. Solicitation package issue date is approximately FEBRUARY 23, 2006.
