- Description
- This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing a Firm Fixed Price four-year One Time Buy contract, to include a one year basic period and three additional one year option periods for the procurement of Pusher/Puller Rotor-EEC Alternator, Puller-Gearbox Seal Face Rotating Ring Adapter, Mechanical-NO.5 Bearing Cover Puller, and the Pin Rig Check-HPC Bell Crank applicable to the C-17 aircraft. The Pusher/Puller Rotor-EEC Alternator is necessary to remove or install the EEC Alternator Rotor. The Puller-Gearbox Seal Face Rotating Ring Adapter facilitates the installation and removal of the Gearbox integrated drive generator system seal face rotating ring. The Mechanical-NO.5 Bearing Cover Puller eliminates dust and dirt from entering and oil from leaving the NO.5 bearing compartment. The Pin Rig Check-HPC Bell Crank is used to determine if the compressor stator cylinder is rigged within acceptable limits. DELIVERY: Production articles are due for all CLINS 120 days after receipt of the contract, FOB DESTINATION to (FD2090) BOEING LOGISTICS SPARES INC, 5690 SOUTHFIELD DR. STE 200, FOREST PARK GA 30297-2524. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 27 Dec 2005 with the approximate response date of 26 Jan 2006. Solicitation will be available for viewing or downloading at www.fedbizopps.gov only. This Solicitation will be issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This acquisition is restricted to United Technologies Corporation., Pratt & Whitney Division, 400 Main St. East Hartford, CT 06108-0968.
