- Description
- The General Services Administration, Federal Technolgoy Service, Pacific Rim Region, intends to issue a solicitation on or about March 20, 2006 to acquire commercially available local telecommunications services for federal agencies located in the states of Arizona and Nevada. A minimum of one contract will be awarded for each service area. Contracts will be firm fixed-price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity. The initial contract period is two years from date of award, with three one-year renewal options, for a total contract life of five years. We are planning a single solicitation to procure services such as basic dial tone service (POTS), Centrex or Centrex-like service, frame relay, point-to-point, trunking service, ISDN (PRI/BRI), DSS, DIA and DSL. Minimum standard feature packages for voice services shall include: voice mail, conferencing 6-way/3-way, call transfer, call forwarding, and call hunting. The aggregate dollar value over a five year period is estimated at $38.5 million. A preproposal conference will be held in Scottsdale, Arizona in April of 2006. Interested parties must notify the GSA Contracting Officer of their intent to attend the conference. GSA reserves the right to cancel the conference due to lack of interest.
