Description

The FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to procure on a sole source basis a suite of Groove office products from Microsoft in support of the U.S. Joint Forces Command Joint Experimentation (J9). Groove products make up the collaborative environment software and are the only software products that can update the existing standard office environment supporting J9?s daily experimentation operations and event, and the classified and unclassified computer systems. This acquisition is being processed under FAR 13.5, which is the Test Program For Certain Commercial Items, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. The Government anticipates issuance of a firm fixed price purchase order. The applicable NAICS code is 511210, and the Small Business Size Standard is $21 million. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or to submit a quote. A copy of the Request For Quote (RFQ) can be found at the Navy?s Electronic Commerce Online website at www.neco.navy.mil. The RFQ number is N00140-06-Q-0091. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
