Description
This is a notification that the Military OneSource Request For Proposal (RFP) is now released on the U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) web page: http://www.peostri.army.mil/. The Presolicitation Notice was posted on August 5, 2005, informing industry of the the Military OneSource Service requirement. The U.S. Army PEO STRI, in support of the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (ODUSD), Military Community and Family Policy (MCFP) Office, developed a full and open competitive acquisition strategy for the long-term Military OneSource Program that will have a period of performance of three-years with 5 one-year options. Description: The Military OneSource requires a contractor to provide services on behalf of the nation?s Military Forces located worldwide, both the Active Components of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and the Components of the Guard and Reserve Forces, and all service members identified as severely injured. This program known in the commercial arena as Employee Assistance and WorkLife services provides members of the Armed Forces, to include their dependents, with a broad array of information, referrals, and counseling services through the internet (www.militaryonesource.com) and telephone (via toll free number and collect calls) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week or through scheduled face-to-face interaction. Services offered by the Military OneSource program provide innovative options for addressing the challenges that military members and their dependents meet on a daily basis.
