- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and award a sole-source, Firm Fixed Price Contract to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC) for the efforts required to remove six (6) Temporary DAMA SATCOM installations from three (3) VH-3D aircraft and three (3) VH-60N aircraft in support of the CSU Program. Additionally, the Contractor shall install six (6) CSU kits resulting in a Permanent DAMA SATCOM capability on three (3) VH-3D aircraft and three (3) VH-60N aircraft. SAC is the only known source with the necessary technical data, knowledge, experience and expertise required to perform this effort. This synopsis is for informational purposes only. Numbered Note 22 applies.
