- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE May 2006 -This serves as a "Notice of Intent" to issue a purchase order under FAR 13.501, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to JC NABITY LITHOGRAPHY SYSTEMS, on a Sole Source basis to purchase the following line items: CLIN 0001: 1 Nano Pattern Generation Software V9.0 Upgrade to existing software/hardware to allow for increased write speed, improved file handling, improved imaging/measurement capability, increased file size and to achieve compatibility with the current IT required windows operating system with the least potential disruption to the functional system. CLIN 0002: 1 USB remote enable Switch. This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-08 effective 05 January 2006. This requirement is determined to be available from only one source because of the compatibility requirements to existing write files. request for quote for this procurement will be transmitted via Federal Business Opportunities. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals received within 10 days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government with an award date on or about 31 May 2006. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.
