- Description
- SPM7LX-06-R-0078. This solicitation is being reopened in an attempt to build competition. The subject requirement is for the acquisition of 1 NSN. An Indefinite Quantity Long-Term Contract with 4 option years is anticipated. The total duration base plus option years shall not exceed 5 years. This is an unrestricted with full and open competition acquisition. The solicitation will be available on May 5/24/2006 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/. The PIDs will be no longer available on the Internet. Hard copies of the PIDs will be incorporated in the solicitation. Increments and delivery schedule will be noted on the RFP. FOB Destination is required, delivery to be made to locations specified in the solicitation. Inspection/Acceptance requirements will be noted on RFP. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. It is the responsibility of the offeror to obtain the additional data that is necessary to manufacture the item and provide this evidence to the Government. See notes 9, 26. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
