Description

The Government intends to issue an unrestrictive procurement for Propellant, Methanol, NSN: 9135-01-526-5184 in support of Anniston Army Depot, AL. The anticipated period of performance is 1 Aug 06 through 30 Jun 11. The resultant award(s) will be for a four-year, 11 month Blanket Purchase Agreement(s). Multiple awards may be made. Delivery shall be FOB destination into Government provided storage tanks at the Anniston Army Depot. The product will be used by Anniston?s industrial facility during heat treating of metal parts to make them harder. The contract ordering periods and estimated quantities are as follows: 01- Aug through 30 Jun 07: 5000 Gallons (GL), 1 Jul 07 through 30 Jun 08: 5000 GL, 1 Jul 08 through 30 Jun 09: 5000 GL, 1 Jul 09 through 30 Jun 10:5000 GL, and 1 Jul 10 through 30 Jun 11: 833 GL. Subject solicitation will be issued on or about 1 May 2006 and posted to the FedBizOpps web page at www.fedbizopps.gov. If you do not have Internet access, a hard copy of the solicitation may be requested. Only written, emailed, or faxed requests for solicitation received directly from the requestor are acceptable. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
