- Description
- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport has a requirement to procure, on a firm fixed price basis, Integrated Electronics Mast (IEM) Inner Mast Fairings manufactured in accordance with Government Specifications and Drawings. The resultant contract shall contain a base requirement of two (2) IEMs and four (4) Option requirements, each for one (1) additional IEM. A “first article” test unit shall be delivered as part of the production quantity. Delivery Requirements: F/A unit: 8 months after contract award. Production unit: 3 months after acceptance of F/A unit. Performance under this contract will be classified. A facility clearance to the DOD “Secret” level is required. Offerors must request the classified portion of the specifications by either email or via fax (401) 832-4820, to the attention of Ms. Bonnie Stevens, Code 5912. This effort is 100% set-aside for small business. Award will be made on “Best Value”. Technical evaluation criteria: Technical/Management Approach, Facilities and Past Performance. NAICS Code: 334419, 500 employees. Estimated RFP release date: 3/17/06. This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable.
