Description

NAVAIR NAWCAD Lakehurst intends to enter into a sole source delivery order with the Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office (JPO) for the development and manufacture of peculiar support equipment for the CV-22 Aircraft. The requirement consists of eight each Light Weight Inertial Naviagation System Alignment Tools and eight each Multi Mode Radar Alignment Tools as identified in the Support Equipment Recommendation Data. The Government intends to procure this equipment under the authority of 10 USC 2304?(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation Section 6.302-1. This is newly identified support equipment for which Bell-Boeing, the original equipment manufacturer, has developed the required technical data. Bell-Boeing is the only source possessing the requisite system knowledge, engineering expertise, aircraft integration information, and technical data needed to develop, test, and produce the required tooling.
