Description

This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and an award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This Specification is to top kill woody vegetation and reduce the amount of fuel in the fire break prior to the 2007 spring fire season. This Project is located at Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge, East Lake, NC. NAICS Code: 115112, Size Standard: $6 Million. This is a total small business set-aside. A firm fixed price commercial order will be issued. Anticipated award date will be on or about May 23, 2006. The Fish and Wildlife Service is presently using Electronic Commerce (EC) to issue Request for Quotations and Purchase Orders. You must register in EC at web site http://www.ccr.gov prior to the closing of this Request for Quotation. If you have any registration questions, please call 1-888-227-2423. Prior to registering each company must obtain a Dun and Bradstreet Number. You may obtain this number free of charge at 1(866)705-5711. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to obtain any amendments which may be issued.
