- Maintenance dredging of Salem River, New Jersey from Station 3+400 to Station 25+778. The contract work consists of maintenance dredging of Salem River, New Jersey - (a) The areas to be dredged under this contract include a base contract and one opt ion; (b) Base contract dredging of the channel will be performed from Station 3+400 to Station 15+500; (c) Option dredging of the channel will be performed from Station 23+750 to Station 24+896; (d) Base and Option dredging will be required to a depth of 1 6 feet plus 1 foot allowable overdepth with no side or end slopes to the full project width of 150 feet; (e) The Government-furnished disposal area available for use under this contract is Killcohook Disposal Area Number 2. The completion time for this pr oject is 120 calendar days. Solicitation Number W912BU-06-B-0007 will be issued on or about 25 May 2006 with a bid opening date of 27 June at 11:00 A.M. The NAICS Code is 237990 with a size standard of $17.0 million. The estimated range of the project is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000 .00 and bonding is required. Solicitation documents, plans and specifications will only be available via the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) homepage located at https://www.fedteds.gov. Registration for plans and specifications should be made v ia FedTeDS Internet homepage and hard copies will not be available. No written or fax requests will be accepted. All prospective contractors and their subcontractors and suppliers must be registered in FedTeDS before they will be permitted to download so licitation documents/information.
