- On or about 15 May 2006 the Army Contracting Agency Fort Polk, LA will issue an Invitation for Bids for mortuary services for deceased active duty soldiers from Fort Polk, LA 71459. The government is contemplating a firm fixed price requirements con tract, and the resulting contract will have a base year and 2 one year option periods if options are exercised. Vendors sought are approved funeral homes or crematories located within 65 miles of Fort Polk, LA. The applicable NAICS code is 812210 and the S tandard Industry Code is 7261. The government reserves the right to unilaterally exercise any option periods. The estimated closing date is 1 Jun 2006 at 3:00 PM Central Standard Time.
