Description

The 16th Contracting Squadron intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to MIC Industries, Inc. Hurlburt Field intends to purchase the following: Proprietary software (Prosoft and Cosmic)for the Automated and Ultimate Building Machines. MIC Industries is the inventor and sole manufacturer of the ABM and UBM and as such their software is unique to the machines. It is also necessary for their function. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Business and is under North American Industry Classification System Code 333120, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Place of delivery shall be 823 RHS, Attn: TSgt Eduardo Marin, Bldg 91151, 633 Independence Dr., Hurlburt Field FL 32544. Submit questions or comments to 16 CONS/LGCB, Attn: SrA Chris Taylor (chris.taylor@hurlburt.af.mil), 350 Tully St., Hurlburt Field FL 32544 at or before 1600 (4:00 PM CST), 22 May 2006. A Firm-Fixed Price order will be issued in writing. This sole source action is being accomplished under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government believes that MIC Industries, Inc. is the only known source that has the proprietary software to fulfill this requirement. Anticipated award is their in 22 May 2006. This notice is NOT a request for quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirements by e-mailing SrA Chris Taylor. Capability statements must include documented ability to satisfy the Government's requirements. Any information received will only be considered for the purpose of conducting a competitive procurement.
