Item 0001 NOUN: Stator, Engine Generator, NSN: 2925-01-423-3002 JU, P/N: 1457M14P03, applicable to F118-100 Engine. Description: The Engine Stator Generator is designed for installation on GE Aircraft Engines. The function is to power for the ignition exciter. The component is a 18-hole permanent magnet, high speed, single-phase, bearingless, 4 output unit. The dimensions are in weight, the stator weighs 3.5 lbs; Electric Connector is a J1 type 12-12 PN. Rotor weight is 1.9 lbs outside diameter is 1.720". The length is 3.134". The material consists of case Aluminum Alloy. Destn: Tinker AFB OK 73145-3032. Delivery: 7ea on or before 29 June 2007. The approximate solicitation?issue date will be 23 May 2006. The response due date will be 22 June 2006. The following source has been approved for this acquisition: Sole Source, Unison Industries (Cage Code: 83311), Norwich, NY 13815-5320. Qualified sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1.
