- Furnishing all labor and equipment to construct approximately 2640 feet of new Type ?A? (4 strand) wire steel fence using Government supplied materials. Work will also consist of installing cedar post corners, end panels, gate panels, stress panels and clearing fence lines. Also consists of building approximately 1056 feet of three-pole wooden fence from Government furnished materials. Work under this Contract is located on the Dixie National Forest, Escalante Ranger District Escalante, Utah. Access is by going North from Escalante on F.S road # 153 (Posey lake road) 14 miles to F.S road #154, North on road #154 7.2 miles to F.S.road #140, West on F.S road #140 4.1 miles to F.S road #139, West on F.S road #139 5.4 miles to a non numbered two track road going to the South, travel on this road 1.8 miles to project location (this road is a rough two track road that will cross Antimony Creek just before the project location). Site Visit is scheduled for June 15, 2006 at 10:00 am. Meet at Ecalante Ranger District Office. Solicitation will be uploaded approx May 25, 2006. Project is estimated under $10,000.00
