- Description
- DITCO-Europe intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for repair and maintenance of the Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) system and support power system at the Defense Enterprise Computing Center (DECC) Europe on or about 17 April 2006. The contractor will be responsible for electrical/electronic, mechanical, control system and power system repair and predictive/ preventative/ scheduled maintenance for the following equipment: two Liebert/Hiross computer room HVAC units with associated roof mounted, air-cooled condenser units, one Emerson power distribution system which supports the HVAC units, and one Piller power conditioning unit system which supports the HVAC units. Unscheduled or emergency maintenance must be responded to at the facility within a maximum of 4 hours and must be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Scheduled maintenance should be conducted during normal working hours of 9:00 to 1700 on a quarterly basis. This maintenance will be performed at Patch Barracks Kaserne, Stuttgart-Vaihingen in the Federal Republic of Germany. This solicitation will result in a one year Firm, Fixed Price contract with the possibility of four additional option years. Offeror will be required to provide a technical description of the services being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation and a price quotation.
