- Description
- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 6, Lakewood, Colorado, is requesting proposals from qualified and eligible Hubzone firms capable of performing design, building and rehabilitation of a Headquarters Building at the Sand Lake National Wildlife Refuge which is located in Brown County, South Dakota. Project work shall consist of but not be limited to providing all plant, labor, tools, parts, equipment, transportation and incidentals necessary for design and construction of a wood framed building addition of approximately 3,100 SF, and rehabilitation of portions of the existing building, site parking and certain site utilities as prescribed by the contract plans and specifications. The new building addition will be used as office and conference room space by the Government. Design shall include stamped drawings. All required permits, fees, licenses and taxes (if applicable) for this work shall be applied, paid for and be the sole responsibility of the contractor to obtain. The estimated magnitude for construction is between $500,000. and $1,000,000. The total performance period is 365 calendar days. This acquisition is a 100% Competitive Hubzone Set-Aside. The NAICS Code is 236220 and the Small Business Size Standard is $31M. The solicitation package is anticipated to be available electronically on/or about May 22, 2006, with an anticipated closing date on/or about June 23, 2006. Proposal evaluation will be based on Best Value, Technical, Past Performance and Price.
