Description

DESC: 1005-00-701-2810, Part Number 7012810-3. The item to procure is a Mount, Machine Gun. Requirements are 350 each. This solicitation will be a Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Machine Gun Mount, Ring for the 50 Cal M66 which has Three concentric Rings 40 inches in diameter with a Machine Gun Cradle (Steel Casting) and various other machined components which must be assembled into the final assembly. Phosphate Coating, ISO 9001:2000, Ball Bearings, Forgings/Castings, Specialty Metals a nd a First Article Test is required. Proposed contract is Full and Open Competition. Solicitation W52H09-06-R-0386 will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502, and 5.102 therefore hard copies will not be provided. Estimated issue date is 24 May 2006. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of sa me. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that will be provided via the internet. Notes 1 and 22 apply.
