- Screening information allows the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to determine which offeror(s) will provide the FAA with the best value. The FAA has appointed an Integrated Product Team (IPT) who will evaluate each response received and make a selection of qualified offerors based on the evaluation criteria established in the SIR. The SIR evaluation process may involve face to face negotiations with one or more offerors. The intent of these negotiations is for the FAA evaluators, or IPT, to gain a better understanding of the proposed project and/or to clarify evaluation information submitted by the offeror(s). All offerors that are eliminated from the competition will be notified in writing. Description of Work: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Northwest Mountain Region is soliciting competitive proposals for the Construction of a New ALSF (NAICS 238210) located at the Great Falls International Airport. Work includes temporary erosion and sedimentation control; site clearing and restoration; removal of selected abandoned light foundations and Direct Earth Buried (DEB) conductors; access road construction or improvement; excavation and backfill; cast-in-place reinforced concrete foundations; installing Government furnished Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT) supported light fixtures, and Low Impact Resistant (LIR) fiberglass structure supported light fixtures; wiring all power and control conductors; grounding, lightning protection, and bonding; and related work. This percentage may be reduced by a supplemental agreement to this contract if, during performing the work, the Contractor requests a reduction and the Contracting Officer determines that the reduction would be to the advantage of the Government.
