Description

Questions and Answers: 1. What is the DOL wage classification for the requested position? If none, is there conformance for the positions. Answer: You can visit the DOL website at: www.dol.gov to view this information. The most current WD number is 1994-2543 Rev 38. 2. Para 5.6 Draft SOW; Alludes to a two-person staffing level at all times. Historically, how many times has the incumbent had to increase the manning above the norm? Answer: This information should be included with the workload estimates. 3. Par 5.6 Draft SOW ; states "10 yrs of qualified military experience.." Please define what qualifies - i.e., any armed service or only Air Force? For example and US Army aviator with flight operations experience. Answer: As long as they possess the qualifications as stated in the SOW, it does not specify a specific branch of service. 4. What is the current staffing levels for this level of effort? Answer: This is proprietary information based on the proposal we receive. Reference para's ---- this is the responsiblity of the offeror to provide in their proposal to man the center 24/7/365. A workload estimate should be posted with the RFP as part of the final SOW. There is no set staffing level. Contractors are free to propose a sufficient mix of labor to man the center. Companies should use the SOW to develop their own staffing levels. 5. Para 5.1.7.4 Draft SOW; Is this appointment a dedicated position or is it collateral (example additional duty)? Answer: This is an additional duty requirement. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (18-JAN-2006).
