- Description
- The Surge Project Office, Code PM53, of the Sealift Program, Military Sealift Command Headquarters in Washington, D.C., seeks to acquire layberth services for one lot, containing two LMSRs, for five years (a partial year base period plus four one-year options and a fifth partial year option period) with the performance period beginning in 2006. The layberth site for the LMSRs will be restricted to the U.S. Atlantic coast, no further north than Narragansett Bay, RI. Estimated RFP issuance is approximately 22 November 2005 with an anticipated closing date of 22 December 2005. Award is estimated in March 2006. The layberth period of performance will occur as soon as practicable after award and will be determined after reviewing MSC needs and contractor capabilities. MSC intends to award the lot on an unrestricted competitive basis. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 488310. Offerors are encouraged to register on MSC Website at www.msc.navy.mil/contracts. This lot of two LMSRs was previously posted under solicitation N00033-05-R-5330, and was cancelled on 04 November 2005.
