- Description
- The National Geospatial Intelligence Agency intends to award on a sole source basis a modification to our existing contract that provides nursing services at the NGA Reston facility. The current contractor is Constella Group. This modification will add nursing services at our Washington Navy Yard facility through December 2007. Immediate services are necessary. The current contract expires in December 2007. It is anticipated that a competitive solicitation will be issued in June 2006 for nursing services at both locations for the new contract which will commence on 1 January 2007. All responsible offerors are welcome to submit a response to this upcoming solicitation. However, it is unreasonable to compete the current immediate requirement for the Washington Navy Yard in that immediate services are required and a solicitation for new contract will be issued in approximately 60 days. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No formal solicitation package is available. However, vendors who believe they have this capability are encouraged to check the fedbizops website for the upcoming competitive solicitation. Award of the modification is anticipated 10 days after publication of this notice. Responses to this notice received within this time frame will be considered by the Government, but must be in writing. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in responding to this notice.
