Description

THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. The Naval Air Depot, Jacksonville, Florida proposes to enter into an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type of contract with Time & Material provisions for support services to augment the Government workforce performing Depot Level Maintenance (DLM) work on aircraft and rework of associated components/materials. The requirement will be solicited as a competitive procurement action pursuant to Section 8(a), of the Small Business Act [15 USC 637(a)] and FAR 19.805. Interested 8(a) firms are encouraged to request to receive notification via e-mail when the solicitation is posted. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the governmnet. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals. No contract will be awarded from this announcement.This requirement includes incorporation of modifications, in-service repairs, and all other categories of service associated with aircraft DLM and it's planning. These services support regularly scheduled maintenance activities as well as ongoing operations. The requiring activity is the Naval Air Depot (NADEP) Jacksonville, Florida. The contract will include a twelve-month base period, and up to four one-year periods for a potential total period of performance of 5 years. Award of contract is expected on 04 January 2007, and will continue through 03 January 2011 if all options are exercised. Any resultant contract will contain the clause, FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement.
