- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. We have a requirement for one each Universal Pulsed Magnetron System and support BRAND NAME OR EQUAL TO ETM Model 3045PK Magnetron Modulator. The specifications for The Universal Pulsed Magnetron are as follows: Specification and Minimum Requirements: Universal Pulsed Magnetron System BRAND NAME ETM Model 3045PK Magnetron Modulator. One (1) Universal Pulsed Magnetron System Two (2) Magnetron RF Modules Modular capability for adding more Magnetron RF Modules at other RF frequencies Primarily 18-40GHz, but can support magnetrons above or below this frequency range. System Integration and Test prior to delivery Delivery to WSMR including on-site set-up and checkout Operating Manual Engineering support of system operation (6 mos.) High-Power Bi-MOSFET switched cathode modulator with integral FET Tailbiter Capable of operating magnetrons up to 1.3MW Continuously variable pulse width range of 0.35 to 10ms at PRF up to 5kHz, depending on swing and magnetron capability 4kW resonant power supply 4 to 33kV, DC 0 to 130mA, average Not damaged by magnetron arcs Limited arc energy helps clean-up arcing magnetrons Modular design with replaceable subassemblies Delivery within 13 Months The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-09 dated 19 April 2006. This requirement is restricted to 100 % Small Business. The applicable NAIC code is 334515 standard si ze 500 employees. Proposals shall be FOB destination, and inspection and acceptance shall be at destination. Delivery will be within 13 months. Payment will be made by Visa credit card. Company must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (http://www.ccr.gov/) before an award can be made. A Firm Fixed Price contract award will be made to the technically acceptable, low price offerer that meets all specification. Contractor wishing to submit a proposal must submit clear and convincing evide nce that they meet all the capabilities and specifications.
