- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is 100 % set-aside for small business. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 334119, Size Standard 1,000. Solicitation/Purchase Request number F2BBAS6101A100 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-09 effective 19 Apr 2006. The Government intends to award one contract line item number (CLIN 0001) for ALTA E47 Digital Imaging System comprising a TE cooled camera head with Grade 1 E2V CCD47-10 CCD and 100 Base T Ethernet interface 15 Ft Cable, Int'l Power supply Activex driver and maxim DL/CCD Software manufactured by Apogee Instruments or equal with Nikon F-Mount Adapter. If providing an " or equal" product, descriptive literature must be provided to be evaluated and considered for award. QUANTITY: 4, UNIT OF MEASURE: EA. DESIRED DELIVERY DATE: 7 weeks or earlier FOB: DESTINATION. Inspection and acceptance: DESTINATION. The following provisions and clauses apply to this procurement: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; FAR 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal. In accordance with the FAR 13.106-1(a)(2) offerors are notified that award will be made on the basis of price and technical detail of the system.
