This is Amendment 03 to the combined synopsis/solicitation for commerical items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is a samll business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit a quote. RFQs will be accepted until Monday, 01 May 2006, at 15:00:00 Eastern time. FOB Destination shall be Islamabad, Pakistan. The Department of State requires the following items, Brand Name (RBR PASGT NIJ Level III-A) or Equal: Line Item 001: Ballistic Combat Helmets Level III-A, Color: 3-Color Desert Camouflage; Size Small, 570 each Line Item 002: Ballistic Combat Helmets Level III-A, Color: 3-Color Desert Camouflage; Size Medium, 1425 each Line Item 003: Ballistic Combat Helmets Level III-A, Color: 3-Color Desert Camouflage; Size Large, 855 each Line Item 004: Shipping to American Embassy Diplomatic Enclave (at the aiport), Islamabad, Pakistan. U.S. taxes/customs duties, if applicable, shall be included in the line item amount. Vendor is not responsible for taxes/customs duties imposed by the Government of Pakistan. Award will be based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. CCR Requirement - Company must be registed on Central Contractor Registry (CCR) to be eligible for award. Quotes submitted should include shipping and handling. ** To have a quote considered for award, all vendors must provide manufacturer part # and extended specifications of the exact model being proposed for all line items. No exceptions! Failure to provide this information will result in a non-responsive quote and removal from award consideration.
