- This project is for the repair of Forest Service Rd #20, the Mountain Loop Road on the Darrington Ranger District damaged by the 2003 flood event. Work includes but is not limited to construction staking, erosion control, clearing & grubbing, excavation & embankment, culvert installation, placement of riprap rock, installation of ecology blocks, concrete bridge construction with earth retaining walls, associated bridge work including asphalt paving, placement of crushed aggregate, equipment rental, seeding and mulching. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is mid-May 2006. Estimated start work date is on or about July 5, 2006. Contract work time is approx 120 days. The Government's estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Bonding is required for this project.
