- ***The open date of the below solicitation has been changed. It will open within the next 30 days and the close/response date will be no less than 30 days from that date*** Solicitation SP0750-06-R-4213 is an unrestricted acquisition for 197 NSNs that have various item descriptions, demand and government required delivery. The proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Classes: 2040, 2510, 2540, 2920, 2930, 3020, 3030, 3040, 4120, 4130, 4140, 4310, 4520, 4710, 4730, 5305, 5306, 5307, 5310, 5325, 5330, 5331, 5340, 5365, 5915, 5925, 5930, 5940, 5945, 5970, 6105, 6110, 6150, 9330. These items are described as air conditioning spare parts. The acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not posses complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources or distributors under the authority 10 U.S.C. 2304c(1). Approved sources: Red Dot Corporation. This requirement is for an Indefinite Delivery Type Contract (IQC) FFP w/prospective re-determination for which delivery orders would be placed against the subsequent award for a period of two (2) years. Additionally, this procurement contains an option to extend the contract award period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration [base year plus option year(s)] shall not exceed five (5) years. The small business size standard is 1000 employees. Destinations(s) include: various CONUS stock locations. NSNs require FOB Destination. Quotations must be submitted in written form. Copies of the RFP will be available at FedBizOps or http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/RFP no earlier than April 24, 2006. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
