Description

Contractor shall furnish FOB destination necessary labor, materials, and equipment for Rental Service of Trailers, National Mall and Memorial Parks, Washington, D.C. The estimated type and quantity of trailers needed are nine field trailers (8'x 28') and one sales office trailer (10' x 32'). These trailers will be used by National Park Service personnel during the July 4th event. The contract has a base period with an opportunity of 4 option years. The estimated magnitude of this procurement is between $8,000 to $13,000 each year. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Chapter 19.502-2, all procurements with a total contract dollar under the $100,000 Simplified Acquisition Threshold shall be automatically reserved exclusively for small business concerns. If the contracting officer receives no acceptable offers from responsible, small, business concerns, the small business set-aside will be withdrawn and the requirement shall be open to all sized businesses. We encourage all sized businesses to submit a quote. Solicitation No. Q3000060025 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and will be awarded as a firm-fixed price contract using simplified acquisition procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 532120 with a small business size of $23.5 million of annual average gross revenues of the total concern for the last 3 fiscal years. The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about 05/02/06. TELEPHONE OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Contractors must register on the website in order to retrieve copies of the solicitation and any possible amendments. Instructions are contained on the website for downloading solicitation and attachments. It is the responsibility of all interested contractors to acknowledge ALL amendments to the solicitation. To download the solicitation all interested offerors must have a DUNS number. To receive a DUNS number please contact Dun & Bradstreet at 1-800-333-0505. However, all quote responses will be delivered by the U.S. mail, submitted electronically or hand carried by 4 PM, May 23, 2006.
