- Description
- The United States Special Operations Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office, has a requirement for Special Operations Aircraft lightweight plank mission equipment package (MEP) hardware. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract, with Contract Fabrication and Design, Inc. (CFD), 5427 FM 526, Princeton, TX 75407-4763, on a sole source basis. CFD possesses the prioprietary technical drawings, unique tooling, and material process descriptions necessary to meet this requirement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for a competitive quote; however, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 336413; the business size is 1000 employees. This is a DO-A1 rated order. It is anticipated that a soliciation for this procurement will be issued on or before 15 June 2006.
