- Description
- In accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(5), the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) intends enter into a sole source contract with AeroVironment, Inc. of Monrovia, CA, for exploring alternate fuel technologies for the Helios/Global Observer. AeroVironment is the sole developer of the Helios/Global Observer, and the Government does not have the data rights to this system to enable competition. USSOCOM anticipates a one year period of performance cost plus fixed-fee contract with a contract maximum of $6.5 million.
