- The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to award on a competitive basis, a contract(s) to provide vouchers for seats in online courses for DoDEA grades 7-12 in the areas of Art, Computer Science, Business, English, Foreign Language, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, and AP courses. The intent of this requirement is not to replace DoDEA's existing in class program, but to provide more learning opportunities to students. The Solicitation Number is HE1254-06-R-0015 and is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). This action incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Fac 2005-09, and DCN 20060412. Offerors shall submit their offers in accordance with the submission instructions contained in the solicitation by 2:00 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time), Thursday, MAY 25, 2006. DoDEA is a Federal Government agency, an education activity, and tax exempt. DoDEA supports military dependent schools both stateside and overseas. FSC Code: U009, Education Services. NAICS Code: 516110, Internet Publishing and Broadcasting. Size Standard: 500 Employees. This notice of intent is a request for competitive proposals. Interested businesses may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting a proposal. Only proposals received within the response timeframe will be considered by the government. Offerors are responsible for downloading the solicitation, all of its supporting documents, and any applicable amendments posted on Federal Business Opportunities at http://www.FedBizOpps.com.
