Description
E-GOV TRAVEL MIS BI SOLUTION. THIS IS A DRAFT REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The US General Services Administration (GSA) is requesting comments on the draft Request for Proposal (RFP) for a business intelligence solution to support an end-to-end solution for capturing data and providing world class information management reports regarding government travel while ensuring privacy act and security requirements are met. This includes the consolidation of data, reporting, and a business intelligence solution to support GSAs eTravel Service Program and the Department of Defense Travel Systemm (DTS. The purpose of this draft RFP is to continue dialogue with industry to ensure, to the maximum extent possible, that industry input and comments are given proper and due consideration in development of the final RFP for a business intelligence solution. Respondents are invited to submit comments by April 26, 2006, on some or all sections of the draft RFP. It is required that respondents use the page and paragraph numbers set out in the draft RFP to reference each comment. A combined synopsis with the final RFP is planned for issuance in May 2006. GSA intends to award an indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery, fixed unit price contract(s) for a one year base period with four (4) 1-year options, not to exceed a total contract life of 5 years. Attachments 1 and 2 have been updated and are available only by written request to the Contracting Officer. GSA CIO-IT Security 01-09, IT Security and Procedural Guide--Certification and Accreditation with Addendum 1 has been replaced and updated by Managing Enterprise Risk (Security Categorization, Risk Assessment and Certification and Accreditation)(CIO IT Security 06-30)-03/22/2006. GSA Security Order CIO HB2100.1A: GSA Information Technology (IT) Security Policy has been replaced and updated by GSA Security Order CIO HB2100.1C: GSA Information Technology (IT) Security Policy.
