- ***The purpose of this amendment to solicitation 1406-04-06-RQ-62234 is to make this requirement a total small business set aside, and to change the due date for the submission of quotes to 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, Monday, May 22, 2006.***GovWorks is issuing a Request for Quote on behalf of the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), Department of Defense (DoD). DCAA has a requirement for Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) professional support related to writing final agency decisions (FAD) to support the agency's EEO effort. This requirement is being issued by GovWorks under the franchise authority of the Department of the Interior on behalf of the DCAA in accordance with FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The resultant award is expected to be a firm-fixed price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract.***The period of performance will be 12 months from the date of award, with four option periods each consisting of 12 months. FOB shall be DESTINATION, Fort Belvoir, VA. ***This requirement is being procured using full & open competition. The resultant award is expected to be a firm-fixed price contract. ***The NAICS code for this requirement is 541199 with a small business size standard of $6.5 million. ***The competitive Request for Quote (RFQ), specifications, RFQ amendments, and all questions and answers related to this procurement will be made available via the Internet at http://www.govworks.gov/vendor/csolicit.asp under RFQ number 1406-04-06-RQ-62234, FAD Writer Services. ***The RFQ is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about April 24, 2006, and will be available via the Internet at the above web site. ***Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the web site. Interested parties must respond to the RFQ in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. No written solicitation document is available, telephone requests shall not be honored, and no bidders list shall be maintained.
