Description

This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and an award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This Specification is for the delivery and stock pile of Sandy Clay Fill; fill dirt to be dumped on Ocean Springs and Gautier unit roads or stockpiled as needed. Delivery will be made to Mississippi Sandhill Crane National Wildlife Refuge. NAICS Code: 421610, Size Standard: 500 employees. This is a total small business set-aside. A firm fixed price commercial order will be issued. Anticipated award date will be on or about May 15 , 2006. The Fish and Wildlife Service is presently using Electronic Commerce (EC) to issue Request for Quotations and Purchase Orders. You must register in EC at web site http://www.ccr.gov prior to the closing of this Request for Quotation. If you have any registration questions, please call 1-888-227-2423. Prior to registering each company must obtain a Dun and Bradstreet Number. You may obtain this number free of charge at 1(866)705-5711. You can view solicitations on line at either http://www.fedbizopps.gov or http://ideasec.nbc.gov (the Department of Interior site). It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to obtain any amendments which may be issued.
