Description

THIS IS A 100% SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE PROCUREMENT. The work consists of renovation of the Engineering Research and Development Center Waterways Experiment Station Field Research Facility located in Duck, NC. The build ing is a one story wood framed structure with approximately 5,000 square feet and has a central concrete framed area. It is constructed on an elevated reinforced concrete pier located on the Atlantic Ocean Coast. The existing wood siding will be replaced with cement fiberboard horizontal siding. All doors and windows will be replaced. A 15' x 24' addition will be made to the lower level and a 44' x 25' upper level will be added. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $250,000.00 and $500,0 00.00. Bidders may register on the Interested Vendors List (IVL) at http://www2.fbo.fedteds.gov/ and retrieve an IVL from the sa me location. Compact discs and hardcopies will not be available. Bidders should check the FEDTEDS webpage often for new solicitations and/or changes (AMENDMENTS) to existing ones. Issue date on or about 25 May 06.
